UK mobile app developer chooses The James Group to launch first US product

New York-based brand strategy firm The James Group have teamed up with London-based PEOKA, a developer of mobile applications, for its first product launch into the US market.

SmartBuyer, a consumer-focused mobile device application, promotes special offers to club members for geographic-specific shopping. “We’re taking some of the new best practices of online marketing and promotions and bringing it back to the brick-and-mortar level,” says David Akande, CEO of PEOKA. “We’re helping people shop the way they naturally would, instead of forcing them to create new habits.”

The James Group has been tasked with the full brand development, product interface design and marketing. SmartBuyer has a planned launch of mid September 2010.
